more hall stuff

well, just came back from hall play. KE7 did a version of FAME! Why did i go? Guilty conscience of not participating in hall activites, i was going to be back on sunday night anyway and i wanted to see how well they could do it. Taking into account that the cast and crew are not full time professionals, they did an ok job. I felt that ralph garcy was the best actor comparing to the real FAME!. Leroy hd a very bad accent and most of the time his words weren't properly pronounced. I guess another person who stole the limelight was the music teacher, Mr chinaman. hhaha...

Mr Chinaman: So, what do your father pray?

Ralph: He plays the horn, english horn, french horn, trumpet (toot toot toot) and the guitar too.. he's real famous and stuff

watching this version only makes me want to watch it again in london (ok gillian?) just so that i remember what it actually is like. Interestingly enough, i seem to recognise quite a fair bit of people who were in the hall play. Considering the number of times i actually meet people in the dining hall or in the walkways, i guess i remember them for their unique/special traits. First off, there's the dumb fuck oh wen jun. prash would know. there's shazad, farveez(niron's friend), pamela's stalker aka fungus boy, short gay boy who always wears singlets, leon(from sji) plus assorted members of the crew and stuff.

and now i'm pissed coz my lindt chocolate has all become soft due to the weather and i have to risk putting it in the fridge where the chinamen on my floor have a tendency to eat whatever's in it anyway. AND I DON'T HAVE A SPOON... so i can't make myself a cup of nestum... bah...

achievement of the day: i walked from UCC back to hall. For those who don't know where UCC is, it's basically just walking from one end of NUS to the other.

13 more days till i see gillian... 7 more till she turns 22!!!!!!!! haha
