hall stuff

did i take up a place in hall which could have probably gone to someone who would have contributed more? probability of someone doing more than me in hall is quite high considering i do nothing. does that make me a horrible person? the only reason why i stay in hall is because of the convenience it offers. although KE may be on the other end of NUS, it is definitely better than going to and fro from simei everyday. i get my own room. although i already have one at home, here i have no parents. No one to anyhow walk into my room while i'm busy.

i like being alone. kinda weird huh? not talking to my neighbours or anyone else in hall actually. but seriously, staying on campus is great coz it's so freaking near. am i obligated to partake in hall activities? no. i want the freedom to do what i want when i want. i had enough of training and cca's in the past years of school.

i've already got a amazing set of friends. SJI guys, it's already been 10 years, almost half of our lives. VJ pple, 5 years too. it's already hard enough to juggle these 2 groups of friends.. haha, only get to see them on alternate weekends.

i think what amelia said today was quite true. there is just 2 extremes of people who live in campus. the crazy over zealous/over involved types that live in hall versus those who are content with the total lack of interaction with your neighbours.

they need halls with something in between. haha
