witching hour

well, 12am isn't exactly the witching hour here in NUS. Things have been going well here in NUS. My 2nd week started with a scare. I thought i had a math tutorial on monday so rushed back to my room on sunday night to complete the tutorial. Unfortunately i had forgotten that tutorials didn't start till the 3rd week. Such dissappointment... Oh how eagerly i was hoping to go for my first tutorial. That week was quite good due to the lack of tutorials and my 5th module. So spent quite a large amount of time with who else but gillian. We made pineapple tarts on tuesday and wednesday and i can't remember what happened on thursday. Friday was daryl's party which i must say was quite fun. Played "circle of death". Imagine elton john singing the song while he was drunk. haha... that was great. The food at tay's place was simply awesome man! I loved the salmon :) Happy 21st dude.

Saturday was some eurasian association thing at the EA house. All 3 of us got awards but it's not difficult to get something looking at the standard. And the top eurasian student was a girl from arts with a 2nd upper from NUS. See what i mean. You mean no one even managed to get a first class? Ok, so it may be freaking impossible to get it but i guess it shows the standards of the eurasian community. Somehow the girl looked familliar though (she kept staring at me, which doesn't happen often so i was wondering where the hell did i see her before, owing to my excellent memory of faces and names). Even gillian said we've seen her before. But she has already graduated so kinda thinking where i could have met her before. Then was gillian's party. Glad that some people made it down. Thanks guys. You don't know how worried gillian was that no one was going to come. I must stop driving to parties! Drinking punch and soft drinks isn't very fun i tell you. Next time i'm going to stay over at whoever's-having-a-party's house. Pics of the past few events will be posted soon, including those of zam's party.

Today wasn't too bad. Went for my math tutorial, the one which i thought i had last week. My tutor is a grad student! Was quite surprised when i saw him walk through the door. Like the guy i was sitting with also thought that he was a student and wondering what the hell he was doing, taking the marker and like walking towards the board.

I have unfortunately been selected as the class rep for my critical thinking tutorial. I thought the teacher was just joking in the last tutorial. But now... I've been identified and at least people will know my name. Not sure whether i know theirs yet though. Work is piling up and i'm a bit behind. Wonder why...

72 hours left till gillian flies off... I think my heart is going to be ripped out. Just let me die in terminal 1 ok guys?
