"Love is just a word. What matters is the connection which it implies."
i went for my uni health check up today. found out that i do weigh quite a bit... heh... and that i can actually read the last line of the eye test thingy easily... and here i thought my eyesight was going bad... playing too much computer games doesn't spoil your eyes. oh, there were these 2 girls standing outside the chest x-ray room(last station) and when i came out, they asked me something. didn't give them the chance to finish their sentance and said i wasn't interested. considering i watched them do it to the previous 4 freshies, i guessed it was going to be some desperate attempt to get people to join their orientation camp/ hall/ cca or something... seems very desperate to me in fact.
the guy who helped me with my hall application was really nice. so was the doctor... went to buy LEGO Star Wars and tried to look for a laptop case. got really crossed when i installed the game into my desktop and realised that my graphics card is too old... but it works on my laptop... phew... i'm glad i chose a laptop with a graphics card instead of some shitty windows shared video grpahics crap...
went to see the dentist for the first time today in say, 6 years? turns out that i have a small hole in my last molar and she patched it up quick. The dentist told me that i have pretty good teeth and that i should see her in the next 6 months. 6 years and a small hole? i don't think i'll see the dentist again till i'm 27.
which in 6 years time, i would have finished my studies and hopefully have a job. and gillian would have finished her studies... many people ask me why stay in a long distance relationship? let's see,
1. I have the freedom of a single.
2. I have someone special but don't have to spend all my time with (which unfortunately i do)
3. We realise that it just isn't about the physical.
4. Most probably the correct explanation taken from the Matrix: Revolutions, Merovingian: "It is remarkable how similar the pattern of love is to the pattern of insanity."
"Love is just a word. What matters is the connection which it implies."
